Young Jin Lee

The Lee group has interests in advancing spatial metabolomics using mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) technology with matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization (MALDI). Most recent interests include on-tissue chemical derivation (OTCD) to improve analytical sensitivity and in vivo isotope labeling to trace single-cell level metabolic activities in plant systems. We are also interested in its forensic applications to determine fingerprint age and developing a new rapid antibiotic resistance susceptibility test.
