Gregory Miller

Greg earned his Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Alabama under the direction of Dr. Russell Timkovich.  After a 20-year teaching career in beautiful Ashland, OR, Greg joins Iowa State as a teaching faculty member. His teaching specialties are general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, forensic chemistry/biology, and clinical nutrition. Once upon a time, Greg enjoyed research involving isolation of plant secondary metabolites, the nutritional differences in food produced under different farming practices, and the mechanisms and kinetics of the degradation of drugs and supplements.  In his free time, Greg enjoys art and traveling to tropical islands.
