Two of the department's faculty, and their research, are featured in the current issue of Iowa State's alumni magazine, VISIONS. You can find stoies on Dr. Young-Jin Lee, with Dr. Paige Hinners, as well as Dr. Pat Thiel. Lee and Hinners appear in the publication along with their much publicized research on aging fingerprints. As the current issue features trailblazing women at Iowa State, of course Thiel would be amongst the list.
Visions is the official publication of the Alumni Association and it published an article marking the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment by giving a brief history of the involvement of women on our campus and naming a selection of many of the most important women in the university's history. You have to be a member of the Alumni Association to be able to read the article online, but we congratulate Thiel for being selected.
