Joselyn Chavarria, a high school student, completed a chemistry internship during the summer of 2024 as part of the ACS Project SEED program in the Kovnir research group. She continued her scientific engagement through a year-long honors research project at Des Moines North High School. Joselyn was awarded the prestigious QuestBridge Scholarship, which supports high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds in their pursuit of top-tier colleges. She is now studying Neuroscience at the University of Notre Dame.
