Sithmi Hewage and Brayden Weaver are two Undergraduates in the Department of Chemistry, who have been award the Dean's High Impact Award for Fall 2024. This award is available for students interested in working on research with faculty members.
In order to qualify for this award, the applicant must:
- Be an undergraduate with a declared major in the College of LAS
- Create a research proposal from the student & faculty member
- Write a final research project
- Be enrolled as a full time student, and be able to commit at least 100 hours to this project
