Life Skills for the Technical Professional Seminar
Dr. Dennis Banasiak (B.S., chemistry, DePaul, 1972; Ph.D., organic chemistry, Iowa State University, 1977 ) will be offering a series of four seminars in a series entitled, "Life Skills for the Technical Professional." The series is free of charge and designed for scientists and engineers who will be entering the workforce. There will be four one-hour sessions with additional time for discussion (30 minutes) after each session.
The seminar series will provide information to:
- assist in making decisions on the type of job to seek;
- understand and evaluate the job offer;
- navigate and communicate in the new organization;
- introduce general business financial and operating principles;
- manage one's career.
