Malika Jeffries-EL, assistant professor, received her B.A. from
Wellesley College in 1996 and an M.Phil. from George Washington
University in 1999. After completing her Ph.D. in 2002 at George
Washington University, she continued her research as a
postdoctoral research fellow at Carnegie Mellon University under
the direction of Prof. Richard D. McCullough which she completed
and then joined the faculty of Iowa State University in 2005. Dr.
Jeffries-EL is a member of the American Chemical Society, Sigma
Xi, and the National Organization for the Professional Advancement
of Black Chemist and Chemical Engineers.
