Reasonable rates for air-conditioned rooms for the 18th BCCE participants are available in two on-campus facillities: Frederiksen Court and Maple-Willow-Larch (pre- & post-conference on-campus housing available). 18th BCCE on-campus meal plans will also be available with several options to choose from (pre- & post-conference meal plans available). GOTO the Campus Housing and Dining Registration page. Check-in for housing at Frederiksen Court and Maple Dorm will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the Maple-Willow-Larch Commons Area. Applications for conference registration, on-campus housing, and on-campus dining will be available via the World Wide Web starting on April 15, 2004. We have plenty of on-campus housing!!!! Frederiksen Court 4 single bedroom air-conditioned suites with a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a washer & dryer. There is a cash and carry food court/QuickMart located in the center of the complex. You need to list your suite mates on the housing form. Pre-conference suites are available. |

Each kitchen in Frederiksen Court includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and hot and cold running water. No utensils, tableware, or pots or pans are provided. There is a clothes washer & dryer in the suite, next to the kitchen. |

There will be one active phone line in each suite TVs are NOT provided. . Phones will NOT be provided. Local calls are free. Long-distance calls can be made via a phone card or a long distance access account. | ||||||||||||||

All bedrooms in Frederiksen Court have single beds, a desk, a chair, a closet (with 2 hangers), and a window. Linen service is available. A pillow and sheets are provided. A blanket is provided. Computers are NOT provided. Smoking is permited in ONLY ONE building at Frederiksen Court. The 18th BCCE is not using this building. If you wish to smoke you must do so outside. |

| ISU on-campus housing prefers summer conference participants to rent the Frederiksen Court apartment suites within a group of four individuals/colleagues/friends. Each participant will have his or her own bedroom and share the kitchen, living room, washer & dryer, and bathroom within the suite. The rate to rent the suite is $150 per night. If you have 2 or 3 people in a suite, the rate is still $150 per night. | |||||||||||||||

Frederiksen Court is located on the corner of 13th Street and Stange Road. This on-campus housing area is located within a four block walk (an 8 minute walk) to Gilman Hall (Chemistry). Gilman Hall and surrounding buildings will be the location of workshops, computers, chemistry demonstrations, laboratory activities, and instrumentation. Frederiksen Court is located about 20 blocks (a 20 minute brisk walk taking the short-cut ) from the Scheman Building, C.Y. Stephens Auditorium and Maple-Willow-Larch dorm complex and 18th BCCE on-campus dining area. The plenary sessions, 90% of the symposia, exhibits, and on-campus dining services are located in the Scheman, Stephens, MWL area. |
