8. Presiders. In order to help
presiders become familiar with the conference computers, switcher, and projector used in the symposium
session(s), we have organized several "training" sessions to be held
at the following times and locations: Saturday, July 17, 2 PM in 1810 Gilman
Hall; Sunday, July 18, noon also in 1810 Gilman Hall; Monday, July 19, 7:30
-7:45 AM in Benton Auditorium, meet at the Scheman ground-level entrance;
Tuesday, July 20, 7:30 - 7:45 AM in Benton Auditorium, meet at the Scheman
ground-level entrance; Wednesday, July 21, 7:30 - 7:45 AM in Benton Auditorium,
meet at the Scheman ground-level entrance. As a presider, you may attend any of these that fit your
schedule and feel free to repeat the experience if you think that will help
you. Due to the time and/or space
constraints we would like to limit this to the symposium presiders. If you feel you should have a
"technology backup" in your symposium, you can invite someone along
as your assistant, preferably one of the presenters in your symposium. The
equipment is very similar in all the symposium rooms, so this session will give
you a chance to see how your room will be set up and to get specific written
instructions that you can take with you to your symposium. We will also specifically point out the
exceptions to the equipment similarity rule and will make sure the presiders in
those rooms get the information they need. Presiders are responsible for keeping their session on
schedule. At this point, no
deviations are permitted from the master schedule. Each symposium room has a blue information sheet.

or dinner at the Maple-Willow-Larch Dining Hall or Union Drive Market Place
