5. Presenters and Previewing Files. The conference server will continue to accept file uploads of digital presentations throughout the conference.  This will be the most convenient way for you to get your file uploaded to the conference computers. If you have your presentation on a micro-drive or CD-ROM, you can up-load your presentation directly to a symposium computer. File uploading can be done at the following times and locations, assistance available: Saturday, July 17 1:00 - 4:00 PM in Gilman Hall, room 1651; Sunday, July 18 1:00 - 4:00 PM in Gilman Hall, room 1651; Monday - Wednesday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, BCCE Committee desk, 2nd Floor Scheman Bldg. Your presentation can be previewed and checked in these same locations at these times. Take the opportunity to check your presentation early and let the computer assistant know if you are having a problem so we can get it corrected in time for your talk. Remember; if you choose to connect your personal computer to our projection system, you are on your own.  If you connect your computer and cause other presenters in your session difficulty, you accept the responsibility of restoring the system. If you don't want your full talk to be posted, you could upload a "trailer" presentation with slides to pique interest and give your permission to post this.  Be sure to also upload the real talk and withhold permission to post if you don't want this posted. Usernames and passwords: For uploading papers username: the email address you used when you submitted your abstract password: 18thBCCE. For looking at the previews of talks in the Online Trading Post

6. On-Line Trading Post: The On-Line Trading Post is available on our website for registered conference participants.  You may also upload materials to be included in this On-line Trading Post. Login information: To use this system, you will need to login with your email address (as submitted with your abstract, if you use more than one) and the system password, which is 18thBCCE.

8. Presiders. In order to help presiders become familiar with the conference computers, switcher,  and projector used in the symposium session(s), we have organized several "training" sessions to be held at the following times and locations: Saturday, July 17, 2 PM in 1810 Gilman Hall; Sunday, July 18, noon also in 1810 Gilman Hall; Monday, July 19, 7:30 -7:45 AM in Benton Auditorium, meet at the Scheman ground-level entrance; Tuesday, July 20, 7:30 - 7:45 AM in Benton Auditorium, meet at the Scheman ground-level entrance; Wednesday, July 21, 7:30 - 7:45 AM in Benton Auditorium, meet at the Scheman ground-level entrance.  As a presider, you may attend any of these that fit your schedule and feel free to repeat the experience if you think that will help you.  Due to the time and/or space constraints we would like to limit this to the symposium presiders.  If you feel you should have a "technology backup" in your symposium, you can invite someone along as your assistant, preferably one of the presenters in your symposium. The equipment is very similar in all the symposium rooms, so this session will give you a chance to see how your room will be set up and to get specific written instructions that you can take with you to your symposium.  We will also specifically point out the exceptions to the equipment similarity rule and will make sure the presiders in those rooms get the information they need.  Presiders are responsible for keeping their session on schedule.  At this point, no deviations are permitted from the master schedule.  Each symposium room has a blue information sheet.
